also the fire doesnt have a big variety of colour either a real fire has blues and oranges and reds mixed in. although i love the way it twists and turns i think if there were more fire colours it would look almost real.
other then that excellent job
Firstly i want say - you draw a very nice classic plot with Phoenix and fire, making this special by DRAGON-Phoenix %) And I like how shown what creature is fiery: flaming contour of feathers and themselves like flames!
But very sad what Dragon-Phoenix have so few colors. And colors is very quiet. Yes! Red and orange very bright on their own, but it not enough. For flaming colors need more contrast (especially since fire near the dragon). No, i not say about original Dragon-Phoenix color of feathers. Its all about color of LIGHT from fire on Dragon %) Light of FIRE must play more colors on feathers.
For example you can light a candle on red background or with the red object near. And you all see: light glare, reflex from environment, and the sharp transitions between them (its will be a shadow).
